I am pleased to share with you
a new set of Catholic Apologetics books by a good
friend and approved Catechist of Rome, Roger Le
Blanc.
Roger is a Pontifically Certified Catechist of
the Vatican authorized by the Congregation of the
Clergy in Rome. He deals with an array of issues
that will help and assist the studious OR confused
Catholic in our morally confused and secular culture.

A
great parish prayer, to share [ pardon the pun
] - We used to say this prayer at my parish, St.
Patrick, in Natick, Massachusetts before the start
of each Sunday Mass at the parish, followed by
the St. Michael the Archangel Prayer after Mass.
It was lead by the pastor or priest. For
some reason, the current pastor did not wish to
continue our parish tradition. I encourage
pastors and priests to prayerfully consider starting
this practice at your parish. Just substitute the
Saint your parish is named after in the blanks
below.
OUR
PARISH PRAYER
Our
Father in heaven, your family of St. _____________,
praises you. We thank-you for the gift of life.
We praise You for Jesus, Your Son, Who makes
us a new creation.
Pour
out Your Holy Spirit that we may repent of sin
and dedicate our lives to You. Fill us with faith,
hope and love. Increase our hunger for Your Word
and Eucharist. Make our hearts joyful with the
awareness that we are your family. Bring forward
the fruit of holiness in our lives for Your glory.
Grant
us wisdom, courage and strength to share Your life
in word and deed with all Your people.
We
ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord, with the
intercession of Mary, our Mother, and ___________,
our Patron.
Amen
Kudos
to Fr. Daniel Twomey.

Can
you help? RE: Mercy of God Devotion.
I've
been trying to find a 32 page pamphlet on the Mercy
of God Devotion, copyright 1978. The publisher, Franciscan
Publishers of Pulaski, WI when out of business about
5 years ago. I know I could get Divine Mercy Novena
material from Stockbridge, Massachusetts, but am
fond of this 3.5 by 6 inch pamphlet with the Picture
of Divine Mercy on the cover that I have used for
years. It was done by Rev. Theodore Zaremba, O.F.M.
