Andrew Sanderson wrote:

Hi, guys —

I have had premarital sex for the last five years with my girl friend using condoms.

  • How can I confess this to the priest?

I want to live a new life now, please help me by providing some answers.

  { How do I confess that I've had premarital sex for five years with my girlfriend using condoms? }

Eric replied:

Hi, Andrew —

What's wrong with saying:

"Father, I had premarital sex for the last five years with my girlfriend using condoms, and I plan to live a new life now"?

If you can estimate how many times that is, you should mention that as well, you can say
on an average of three times a week or whatever.

Confessions don't have to be complicated; in fact, the best ones are very simple.
