Dear Larry,
The Imprimatur signifies that there
is nothing within the material that
is contrary to faith or morals. However,
it does not necessarily mean that
the claims over and above that, within
the material are all true.
So regarding the private revelation
that you mention, an imprimatur would
not claim everything written is true (although
it might be), but rather, what
is written does not contradict Church
teaching.
Peace,
Paul

Hi, Larry —
I have the book in front of me.
Can you tell me what page the imprimatur
is on; I couldn't find any.

Hi, Mike —
No page number but the first page
is blank on both sides then the next
face is the title page, and behind
that, at the top is:
"Printings" starting
with May 2002: 1 — 1,500
and ending with
Eighth printing, October, 2010:
62,2010: 62,501 — 67,500
After that is the publisher information
followed by the copyright information
then the imprimatur.
It has a ISBN number of: 0-9727445-0-9.
My wife and I are both reading it
and it is hard to put down.

Dave —
Thanks for the information.
My copy was only in the fifth printing,
so between my copy and the eighth
printing, the book must have received
its imprimatur.
Although it's hard to put down, I
still echo Paul's comments on your
question.
We have to be careful to separate
theological opinion, which the content
of this book is, from the doctrines
and dogmas of the Church.
I'm sure Maria Simma would
agree and understand my point.
