Hi there,
I was baptized as a baby in the Catholic Church.
I did not attend a Catholic school and did
not have a First Holy Communion. I have been
attending a Catholic parish regularly now
for some time, without ever receiving Holy
Communion. My Church has prepared me to make
my Confirmation later this year.
- I understand that I need to make my First
Confession (which I intend to do) before
receiving my First Communion, however,
can I start receiving Holy Communion immediately
after my First Confession, or do I need
to wait until the day of my Confirmation?
I'm comfortable with and understand what receiving
Holy Communion means.
