Randy wrote:

Hi, guys —

I won't be in full communion with the Church until Easter.

  • Can I pray the Rosary until then? [Free]
  • Is it OK to use my iPhone app iRosary while sitting in my crane at work?

  { Can I pray the Rosary or use my iPhone app iRosary, even though I won't be a Catholic until Easter? }

Paul replied:

I don't see why praying the Rosary wouldn't be a good thing, whether you're fully a Catholic or not.

Receiving the sacraments is a different story because those encounters with Christ must have a certain order; but prayer can come from an atheist.

Your desire to pray the Rosary is admirable and may be the fruit of grace prompting you.

Eric replied:

Hi, Randy —

Absolutely, you should pray the Rosary and, yes, you can pray by iRosary on your crane.
