Hi, guys —

I am in 6th grade and go to All Saints Regional Catholic School in Manahawkin, New Jersey.

In religion class we were discussing the topic of original sin. We were reading our books and came across the passage from Genesis Chapter 3, Verse 15:

"He shall strike at your head and you shall strike at his heel."

I wasn't exactly sure how to interpret this passage so I would like you to explain what this Bible verse means.

Thank You. Sincerely,

Jordan Malandro

This sounds like a homework question so the best I can do is direct you to the correct sources where you can find the answer.

I would search several sources:

The only other thing I'll say is the Biblical chapters and verses you want an exegesis on, when understood correctly, are an extremely important part of our salvation history.

Hope this helps,

Mike
